Who’ll have the “right of way” in the sky? The USA is at this point in our skies. The advancement of drone delivery services and company delivery drones may not be as quick as we thought. We currently do not have an air traffic control system for UAVs . Although other countries foresaw the increase of commercial drones and have a plan in place or quickly establishing one, we are slow to react. Not only do we have commercial drones in our skies, what about recreational pilots? The ability to reach 400′ with the push of a button, who would have thought….Drone traffic has greatly increased and the projection of UAS sales is 4 trillion annually by 2025. Without a drone highway with speed restrictions, landing equipment implementation, and other necessary limits, will packages actually be delivered quicker than train, plane or automobile? What are your thoughts?
