Online Part 107 Exam Prep Course

This Part 107 Review Course is a live instructor led online classroom where everyone can see and speak with each other as well as share information. It's 8 hours in length spread over 4 evenings. Because there is no need for travel, meeting room rental, meals, etc., there are no minimums for class size.

In August of 2016, the FAA established guidelines for operations of small UASs. This is known as Part 107 and in order to operate a UAS for commercial purposes, you are required to obtain this Remote Pilot Certification.

As a result of this regulation, the FAA has become very restrictive when it comes to the definition of “Commercial use”. Even though you many only fly recreationally, if you post a video to YouTube or other services, there is a potential to monetize it, therefore it is considered to be commercial in nature.

The knowledge test is comprised of 60 multiple choice questions. To pass, you must have a score of at least 70%.
